Left: Micah Elia, They/Them, Senior - In an environment where learning should be our top priority, students deserve to feel secure. School is not a place where anyone deserves to be anxious about their access to period products. After experiencing firsthand the impact that free, reliable period products made to my school day, I joined freeperiod in junior year. Moving forward, I am honored to be a part of this club and keep making life easier for our students.
Center: Alesia Bregu, She/Her, Senior - The fight for menstrual equity is not only at the forefront of our club but also shaping the future of our society. Periods are natural, but lacking basic hygiene materials is not. I'm very fortunate to lead this incredible club and to provide, advocate, and break the stigma surrounding menstruation.
Right: Viola, She/Her, Junior - I support free period to help make the lives of girls at school easier. With everything going on in our lives, I think it is extremely important that girls should not have to worry about small things like forgetting to bring period products. I am excited to be leadership this year!
Left: Joie Li, She/They, Junior - Freeperiod is an amazing club that makes a difference. I joined this club because I knew it aligned with my beliefs, along with the fact everyone deserves the right to access period products, especially in schools! I’m so thankful to be a part of this organization at CHHS.
Center: Shanti Gulati - Free Period is an amazing club that gives period products to those who need them! Period poverty is a big issue in the United States that prevents many from having equal opportunities, and being a part of Free Period is a great way to help lessen this problem in our community!
Right: Zoe Zhang, She/Her, Junior - FreePeriod has made such a large impact on our school community by providing menstrual products at no cost, and I am grateful to be involved in such an amazing organization.
